Not for Sales' first event of the year!
On Monday, January 23rd, delegates from CRD and from the National Agency against Human Trafficking, CR Cluj Napoca organized the first event for raising awareness of the annual project “Communitary Resources against Human Trafficking 2012”.> 45 students from the “Mihai Voda” Elementary School (Mihai Viteazu, Cluj County) have debated for 90 minutes on the causes and effects of human trafficking, watched a documentary about human trafficking and analyzed means for decreasing viztimization. One of the primary goals of the project “Communitary Resources against Human Trafficking 2012” is to increase the level of awareness on this issue in rural areas.

Until the 15th of May, the Romanian Tax Code (Codul Fiscal) allows you to donate 2% of your income tax to NGOs. Your donation to "Not for sale" helps the prevention of human trafficking in Romania. Fill in the form and send it back scaned to office@notforsale.ro

About Not for Sale Romania
The community outreach program against human trafficking, "Not For Sale- Choose For Your Own Sake" was initiated by the Ratiu Foundation for Democracy as a response to the growing phenomenon of human trafficking in Romania. Through projects and campaigns, this program hopes to increase the knowledge of those both directly and indirectly at risk, and create a network between community, civil society, and organizations that have the authority to offer social services or public security.
